Ovako delivers hot-rolled bar in many shapes: round, square, flat and as special profiles. We also hot-roll bar under very controlled condition for a range of Special Properties bar, SP-bar for short.

Our further processed bar offering, often referred to as bright bar, contains peeled bars, drawn bars, ground bars and pre-components machined as per customer specifications to save cost.

Near net shape products are supplied by machining or profile rolling bar or ring. We can also supply the bars and tubes cut to finished length to make the complete production chain more efficient.

A unique combination of in-house production from steel mill to plating ensures unmatched property, quality and consistency of base materials and surfaces.

Ovako offers a specialty wire rod, known as SR-100, which is a surface removed and inspected wire.

Our tube products are characterized by uniform properties and close tolerances and with special emphasis on small machining allowances.
